Excursion: trekking among bays

This beautiful excursion takes us to the southwest of the island of Ischia. Starting from the town of Panza, we first cross the large volcanic crater of the "Campotese". The mouth of the crater is terraced with lush vineyards, favored by the fertile volcanic soil. During the trek we clarify how the vines were cultivated in the past and what the prerequisites for viticulture are now. Arrived in the center of Panza, we follow a ravine that goes towards the sea. In this way you can reach the bays of Pelara and Sorgeto. The tour ends, for those interested, with a wine tasting (not included in the price) at an ancient Greek cellar: "l'Antica Fattoria Greca".
