A tour of other times, visiting the island by microtaxi is a unique experience, a different vision and far from the usual standard tour ...

A ride around the island by microtaxi means seeing Ischia through different eyes, discovering the island in its purest and most authentic form, with an old-world charm and a traditional atmosphere.

The pick-up is scheduled at the port of Ischia, either from the bus station or near the port exit upon arrival.

The tour continues to Casamicciola, the beating heart of the island’s thermal spa tradition, and then heads to Lacco Ameno to discover the “Fungo”, a rock formation shaped by the waves of the sea. Still in Lacco Ameno, the itinerary includes a visit to the Church of Santa Restituta and its archaeological excavations, followed by the beautiful Bay of San Montano.

From bay to bay, the journey continues toward San Francesco, offering breathtaking views from above over the town of Forio—perfect for taking wonderful photos! A stop at the La Mortella Gardens follows, before descending into Forio to visit the Church of Soccorso, dramatically perched on a cliff above the sea, with a 15-minute walk through the charming historic center of this hilltop town.

Heading west, the tour reaches the Poseidon Gardens and then continues south to the fishermen’s village of Sant’Angelo, where a 30-minute stop is scheduled.

The journey then moves inland, continuing to the Serrara viewpoint, another spectacular panoramic spot, and then to Fontana, the highest mountain village on the island. From there, the route descends again toward Maronti Bay, home to the longest beach on Ischia.

The tour ends in the municipality of Ischia with the unmissable visit to the ancient village of Celsa, where the view stops before the impressive Aragonese Castle. A 20-minute stop is included.

Possibility of departure from other municipalities of the island or directly from your hotel, with an additional supplement.

A journey with different eyes, discovering the beloved old Ischia, perfectly captured by Marcel Proust’s famous quote: “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”
