The excursion begins with a panoramic view of the picturesque village of Sant'Angelo located in the south of the island of Ischia. After a short climb you reach the Falanga with a breathtaking view
Here a sea of perennially poised rocks, an acacia wood and a chestnut grove await us. The plateau is densely wooded, in the forest we discover huge mossy boulders, the rustic rock houses and deep snow pits, witnesses of times gone by. Crabs boulders of rocks have been shaped by the wind and form an enchanted forest. Our well-deserved lunch break will take place at a rustic mountain restaurant near the church of Santa Maria al Monte. The restaurant with a fantastic panoramic terrace was originally also a house carved into the rock! During the well-deserved lunch break on the panoramic terrace, you can strengthen yourself to the fullest with one of the "antipasti della casa" prepared by the hostess Nunzia in the typical Ischian home style - a delight! A glass of delicious house wine and the beautiful view round off the hiking day.
GEOLOGIST'S TIP: The route offers fantastic photographic opportunities, not only of the landscapes and wonderful rock formations. We will be happy to photograph you with the "Obelix menhir" on your back or portraits with a rock frame.
If the minimum number of participants 5 is not reached, the Guide reserves the right to cancel the activity.
