Piano Liguori and Monte Vezzi
Starting near the Church of Annunziata di Sant'Antuono, we will continue on the road that leads to Torre di Mezzo, crossing vineyards overlooking the sea and whitish volcanic rock.
The route allows you to reach the semi-abandoned village of Piano Liguori, up to the volcanic cathedral Monte Vezzi, from which we will have a 360° view of the entire eastern area of the island.
We will then arrive on a panoramic point from which we will be able to admire the bay of the sgarrupata and its impervious walls that show examples of stratified volcanic materials and the San Pancrazio tip with the characteristic church overlooking the sea.
From this point, where the view of the sea opens up, we will continue along the path that leads back to the Liguori plain and reconnects to the lower part of Torre di Mezzo, continuing the journey in the direction of Campagnano, skirting the Cartaromana bay and the Aragonese castle in the village of Ischia Ponte.
