Ischia from other times: microtaxi tour in the evening

Getting around the island in a microtaxi means looking at Ischia with different eyes which shows itself in its purity and originality with an almost traditional ancient flavor even in the evening!

The tour starts from the port of Casamicciola, the beating heart of the island's thermalism and continues towards Lacco Ameno to discover the Mushroom, a rock outlined by the waves of the sea. Also in Lacco, the church of Santa Restituta with its archaeological excavations and towards the bay of San Montano.

From bay to bay, towards San Francesco with a view of the town of Forio from above to take magnificent photos! A passage to the La Mortella Gardens and down towards Forio with a visit to the Soccorso church overlooking the sea with a 15-minute walk in the center of the turreted town.

To the west the Poseidon Gardens and to the south of the island the fishing village of Sant'Angelo with a 30-minute stop. It's time to move to the hills, continue to the Serrara belvedere, another suggestive panoramic point and then Fontana, the mountain village of the island, and from there back down towards the Maronti bay, with the longest beach in the island.

The tour ends in the municipality of Ischia for the inevitable visit to the village of Celsa where the view stops in front of the imposing Aragonese Castle. Stop for 20 minutes.
